Completed Projects
January 5, 2009
This weekend the light was just right and the domestic chores were sufficiently completed to allow time for picture taking. Finally, I present to you my completed figures:
Sabol’s Army Transport (purchased from The Warstore as a Warmachine / Hordes special), carries my entire army, including accessories. Sadly, half the foam trays are already full.
The first full unit I ever painted. They, along with the Stormblades, were rush-completed to get my initial 500 point list to a fully painted state.
Close detail on the Longunner Sergeant. Moustache!
A simple colour scheme, but striking all the same. Try not to focus on the Sergeant’s terrible face.
My go-to troopers, especially with Haley. As you can see, these are fully based with a spring colour scheme.
A badass, but soon to be eclipsed by…
From left to right: The Lieutenant, Sharpshooter and Grenade Porter. For that extra “umph” that turns the Trenchers into a infantry toolbox. However, none are so impressive as…
In all his blurry glory. Completed along with the rest of the Trenchers over the course of a month.
The Squire on the left took only a couple of hours to paint, and was a welcome relief from teh drudgery of painting full units. This was taken before I had done some touch-ups and based him. Haley was my second Warcaster, and my first try at wet blending on her shoulderpads. Hard to see here, but it turned out well.
A fun pose on a terrific light Warjack. Again a simple scheme, but efeective when highlighted well.
Even though he’s not Cygnar, the Bokur was probably my favourite to paint and, I feel, the best medium based model I’ve done so far. The green / red colour scheme really worked out well.
Sadly, pictures of the other completed mercs (Rupert, Gorman and Alten) didn’t turn out well. I save them for the next photo set. Next on the painting block: Haley’s personal ‘jack, Thorn.
